Application:
>Features: hindered phenolic antioxidant with photo and thermo-stability; Provides low volatility and resistance to extraction from polymer compounds. used as irganox 3114 equivalent.
>antioxidant 3114 is suitable for PP, PE, polystyrene, ABS, PVC, nylon and polyurethane, especially effective for polyolefin. Also used as a radical scavenger providing stabilization for polyolefins.
>When used with UV absorbent and phosphite ester, a synergistic effect can be reached, thus enhancing the thermo-stability and light stability.
Handing and Safety:
>Ecotoxicology data indicates that there is a low concern for acute toxicity to fish, aquatic plants, and aquatic invertebrates. The data indicate that the material is not readily biodegradable; however, due to the low water solubility, environmental exposures are expected to be low. There is a low potential for bioaccumulation.
>FDA approved antioxidant 3114 for use in various polymers and adhesives intended for food contact applications as defined in 21CFR178.2010 and 175.105.
>For additional handing and toxicological information, please consult us for Maternal Safety Date Sheet.
